KiDz HuB Welcomes Blue Ridge Communications TV13 to TCS

We are excited to welcome two new additions to our list of media mentors at KiDz HuB Kollege. Ben Stemrich and Britni Mikulanecz will join us for our 3rd club meeting at the KiDz HuB Media Club at Timothy Christian School (TCS) in Piscataway New Jersey! This Club Meeting will take the form of a workshop and 'hubbers will be learn the about video production and how to tell a story through video.

The KiDz HuB TCS Media Workshop

This meeting will be in the form of a media workshop from 11:30am-2pm. Our hosts from Blue Ridge Communications TV 13 will be our main presenters for the workshop.

We are excited to have Mr. Ben Stemrich, born and raised in Allentown with a degree in Mass Communications from Bloomsburg University. For just over five years Ben has worked at Blue Ridge Communications TV 13. Beginning as a sideline camera operator on Sports crew, to being a news videographer today. Ben does shoot everything from local community events to professional sports, to plastic surgeries, and more. Ben has built a career on telling a story through video.

Also joining week, Britni Mikulanecz, TV13’s newest reporter. She was born and raised in Portland, Maine and earned a Communications degree with a concentration in media studies from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA. As a member of the basketball team and a sports intern for WHDH7 sports in Boston, Ms. Mikulaneczi envisioned herself becoming a sports reporter. Since joining news 13, she’s found a new passion for local news. She enjoys both human interest stories, and crime scene reporting.

Our KiDz HuB Junior Broadcasters from TCS will get hands-on in doing their own reporting in the Broadcast Bootcamp Workshop.
