The KiDz HuB Certificate Awards #KiDzHuBAwards at TCS was a huge success and we are very proud of our twenty three (23) new KiDz HuB Junior Broadcasters on their accomplishment. After our first module, hubbers are more screen smart, more media literate and more confident.

KiDz HuB Awardees/Hubbers

4th Graders

Ethan Amaning

He ranked in the top 5 in the Math Olympics and scored three shots in a soccer game this year. He is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

ACCEPTANCE SPEECH:

"My favorite part of KiDz HuB is EVERYTHING. I liked when we talked to a MENTOR in Egypt who told us about media literacy and when we worked on our resume’s. I liked the media workshop, the field trip to CBS studios, and the lesson on how to give a tour to people who are new to TCS."

LIAM: She won 9 dance awards and won various reading prizes. She is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

Jalen Fleming

TEHYA: He got into the TCS Discovery Science Club and made it into the TCS Junior Tigers 3 years ago to now. He is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

ACCEPTANCE SPEECH:

First, I would like to thank God, for through Him all things are possible.

I definitely would like to thank my father, my mother and my little brother for being an amazing family to me. I would also like to thank my Grandmothers, Grandfathers, Aunts and Uncles whose prayers help me become a better person. Lastly, I would like to thank Mr. Dillon, the KiDz HuB and TCS family for believing in me and supporting me.

LIAM: He ranked in the top 2 in a church singing competition and is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

TEHYA: She ranked in the top 3 in the Math Olympics and is on youtube for knowing the countries of the world when she was two. She is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

LIAM: She is a high roller on the honor roll and completed 20 hours of community service through Girl Scouts. She is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

Roland Dillon

TEHYA: He won the first place in the Math Olympics and co-hosted the Red Carpet this earlier this evening. He is a TCS ambassador, and has been an international KiDz Hubber since 2012.

The KiDz HuB mission is to give youth a global voice, and this evening I would like to thank all of our media mentors from Cairo, Egypt to

Pennsylvania, from New York to New Jersey, and even right here at TCS. Thanks to all the parents for signing us up so we could work together as Kidz Hubbers.

"Thank you for this opportunity to work with KiDz HuB Media Club. It will benefit me in many ways. I will use the skills I have learned from Mr. Dillon (Uncle Lanze) to do a good job with oral presentations in my classes. I will also use these skills to help give tours and speak boldly and confidently to new families about Timothy Christian School. Thank you."

EMMA: He aspires to be a lawyer, and not only does he serve at a soup kitchen and clean up his church, he also walked for breast cancer awareness, and operates our teleprompter this evening.

DANICA: She ranked in the top 2 in a music competition called the Golden Key and got fifth place in a spelling bee for Christian schools. She is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

I want to thank my parents for letting me join KiDz HuB and taking the time to pick

me up every Thursday. I also want to thank Mr. Dillon for continuing to teach kids

about media and bringing us on exciting trips where each time, we learn something

new. Lastly, I want to thank all of the parents that helped out during KiDz HuB –

Module 1.

Thank you for this tremendous honor. I want to first thank God for the unique gifts and talents he has given me and all the Hubberz. Thanks to Mr Dillon for following his dream and starting this club. You’ve been a great role model. Thanks to TCS for inviting me to this club; I wouldn’t be here today if weren’t for you. TEHYA: She went to the Nickelodeon HALO Awards this year and co-hosted the red carpet earlier this evening. Sheis a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

Thank you to the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB for giving me this award. Thank you “Uncle Lanze” for the time you spent with us. Thank you for showing us about camera angles and interviewing. I really enjoyed going to CBS, it was an amazing time. Hopefully, I will be able to use what I learned in this club in the future.

LIAM: She earned a Girl Scout Bronze Award and started her own youtube channel. She is a TCS ambassador, and completed the KiDz HuB TCS Media KluB - Module 1.

Thank you very much I really appreciate this certificate for Kidz Hub Media Club.

My favorite moment from Kidz Hub is when we went to CBS studios because it was cool and an awesome adventure especially seeing all the computers and machines to have the whole radio network work .Even the fact we got to see one of the morning radio guys do his job and having Lee Harris as our tour guide was cool too. I was able to learn a lot from that trip. Also while we were in New York we took a ferry ride from my seat I was able to see The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

KiDz HuB is going to affect my life in the future is I’ll be able set a camera in the right position and get the person who I’m videoing in the proper spot. This will also benefit me with having a proper handshake with someone and how to properly say thank you to people because I will be able meet people and say thank you better.

I want to say a special thank you to TCS, KiDz HuB and Mr. Dillon and for making this a great experience.
